Ellaysa Newton, IDC Iowa State Coordinator, has served in dance ministry for 11 years. Ellaysa, originally from Pontiac, Michigan, grew up in North East Texas. She is the founder of Perfected Praise Dance Ministry, which is a ministry made up of Christian dancers with a commitment to God and His call on their lives. PPDM is focused on spreading the truth about dance ministry and empowering the kingdom of God through the Sacred Arts.  Perfected Praise is a four-fold ministry.  The four components are as follows: outreach/community, children, adult and instructional. In 1999, she was appointed as the Minister of Dance for Point of Grace Ministries. PPDM was founded in 2000 under the spiritual covering of Point of Grace Ministries in Ames, Iowa and Childress Deliverance Temple in Marshall, Texas.  Ellaysa is the CEO/founder of Perfected Praise Center for Dance Ministry which was incorporated in the State of Iowa as a non-profit in 2006.  She recently stepped down from the position of Minister of Dance at Gift of Life Church under the pastoralship of Brian E. Hill and apostleship of Robert Hill in order to pursue full-time ministry in Dance. Ellaysa was Dance Coordinator over three dance ministries: Temple Worshippers (Adults), Teens 4 Christ and Kids 4 Christ.  In 2008, she was appointed as the Iowa State Coordinator for International Dance Commission and promoted to Assistant East Region Coordinator in 2009.  As of 2010, Apostle Newton now serves in the capacity of East Region Coordinator for IDC.  Our founder is involved in many community and nationally based ministries to fulfill the promise of the Father to His children. Apostle Ellaysa Newton served as lead intercessor and Community Liaison for Shout! Ministries and is currently,  Executive Administrator for Kingdom Destiny Fellowship International, East Region & Iowa State Coordinator for IDC and Artisitc Director for Perfected Praise.

 

Ellaysa has ministered in many states across the country including Michigan, California, Texas, Iowa, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Virginia, North Carolina and Illinois and in many different venues including concerts, conferences, workshops, graduations, family reunions, weddings and community events to name a few. She also teaches workshops on flags & ribbons, gospel mime and mentors local dance leaders and dance ministries.
