Perfected Praise Dance Ministry and Dance Center

I will try to keep you updated on what's going on with IDC (International Dance Commission) both in Iowa and Nationally, also, the activities of Perfected Praise Dance Center and the church ministries!
Ellaysa Newton is the founder of Perfected Praise Dance Ministry. We were founded in 2000 under the spiritual covering of Point of Grace MInistries in Ames, Iowa and Childress Deliverence Temple in Marshall, Texas. She served as the Dance Ministries Coordinator at Gift of Life Church, under the pastorship of Brian E. Hill, and Apostleship of Robert Hill for 5 years, from 2005-2010.
Perfected Praise grew out of the student-led ministry: Point of Grace Ministries on the campus of Iowa State Univesity. We have been called to minister to both the young and the old. We are committed to God and His call on our lives.
In Ecclesiastes 3:4, the Lord hath said that there is a time to mourn and a time to dance. In the second book of Samuel, the sixth chapter and the fourteenth verse, the Bible says that King David, "wearing a linen ephod, danced before the Lord with all his might." King David knew what it was to dance before the Lord with thanksgiving in his heart. He recognized the awesome power of God and His glory. He couldn't hold back his praise and neither can we!
Romans 12:1 calls us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-- this is your reasonable spiritual worship, or acceptable service. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That you may know what is the good, perfect and acceptable will of God.
Currently, PPDM is based in Waterloo, Iowa and will soon be moving to Jacksonville, Florida! We enjoy ministering where He leads us. We are eager to bless our brothers and sisters through the ministry of dance all over the world.
Perfected Praise is a four-fold ministry. The four components are as follows: outreach/community, children, adult and instructional.
We are available for many different opportunities of ministry in each field.
Examples of Opportunities
Outreach/Community: parades, festivals, school functions, club activities
Children: workshops with ribbons, youth retreats
Adults: conferences,gatherings,retreats,workshops, and programs such as: praise and worship services, anniversaries, women's day, weddings/receptions, or other special programs/occassions
Instructional: seminars and workshops on praise/worship/dance/scriptural dance/mime/ribbons & Flags/leadership/mentoring
Feel free to inform your congregation, ministries and committees about the ministry. You may call or e-mail requests. Please forward invitations as far in advance as possible so that our calendar does not have any conflicting engagements. We will accept invitations as late as one week before the event, if it is in the state of Iowa. For engagements outside of Iowa, 2 weeks notice is necessary. (If those dates are available at time of request).
